COVID-19 AND REMOTE LEARNING

COVID-19 INFORMATION

Due to Covid-19, the school has an on-going and regularly updated RISK ASSESSMENT. We continually review our practices in line with government guidelines and school practices.

Currently, we are in a national lockdown and only open to vulnerable and key worker children.  Our risk asessment reflects this and the impact of the new and more infectious strain of Coronavirus.

Catch-Up Funding

Following the lockdown and re-opening of schools in September 2020, all schools were given an amount of money, (£80 per child), to support children to "catch up" with their learning.  Our plans are fluid in order that we respond to our in-school data and observations of our children.  Please read our document to find out how we are spening this money.

REMOTE LEARNING

In March 2020, all schools had to rethink how they could best support children's learning at home.  It was new and unexpected for all of us.  We have reviewed our practice since then with the help of parent feedback.  The school has a clear policy in place in the event of a full or partial closure for 2020-2021 as the virus remains.  The policy explains the expectations of school and home.
