At Brackenbury Primary School, our Computing Curriculum introduces children to computer science through a variety of exciting resources and learning experiences. Children begin their Computing journey in Reception and build a wide breadth of life long skills throughout Key Stage One and Two. Children will develop these skills through engaging projects that provide opportunities for them to deepen their understanding in Computing.

We deliver the Computing National Curriculum through Kapow. This scheme focuses on 5 Computing strands:

  • Computing systems and networks
  • Programming
  • Creating media
  • Data handling
  • Online safety
